June 1, 2026: West Metro Swath
Golf-ball hail (1.75") tracked across the west Denver metro from Denver to Edgewater, catching Arvada and the Lakewood border corridor. Reports in the Denver swath ran as large as 2 inches.
June 8, 2026: The Foothills Storm
A second storm rolled off the Front Range mid-afternoon: 1.75" golf-ball hail near Kittredge (3:30 PM), 1.5" near east Arvada (3:30 PM), 1.0" quarter-size in Golden (3:56 PM), Lakewood (3:32 PM), and two locations in Wheat Ridge (3:26–3:27 PM). Some area reports reached 2.5–2.75 inches.
